The holy shrine is being run and managed by Kalinga Cultural Trust, Hyderabad. Kalinga Cultural Trust, Banjara Hills was formed and registered under Societies of Registration Act in the year 1992 which was earlier known as Utkal Sanskrutika Parishad for several years. This is a charitable and religious trust and is governed by its own by-laws.

1. Please inform Darshan timings of the Temple?

Ans: The temple remains open from 6 am to 12 noon and 5 pm to 9 pm on working days and from 6 am to 12 noon and 5 pm to 10 on holidays and festivals.

2. How to go from Secunderabad station to Jagannath temple?

Ans: The temple is 14 kms away from Secunderabad station. You can take bus route nos.47 ZC, 47 E, 47 L and alight at Indo American cancer Hospital or any other transport and reach KBR park entrance gate and walk along boundary fencing and reach the temple or hire an auto or taxi asking him to take you to Puri Jagannath Temple at Road No.12, Banjara Hills.

3. Is there parking slot near the temple?

Ans: Yes there is free parking place available in the northern and eastern side of the temple. There is pressure in parking area on holidays and festive occasions.

4. What are the timings for Abhada (Anna Prasad)?

Ans: Mahaprasad (Abhada)/ Anna Prasad is available on prior booking for a minimum of 25 persons on full payment made at the time of booking and served at 9 p.m. Provision for special arrangements is available for afternoon subject to engagements in the temple.

5. Is vehicle pooja available here?

Ans: Yes. Vehicle (Vahana) pooja is done during temple timings with nominal charges of Rs.500/- per 2 and 3 wheelers and Rs.1500/- per four wheelers.

6. Any dress code ?

Ans: No specific dress code is prescribed. Traditional dress is preferred. No footwear is allowed inside the temple.

7. Is Prasad available daily?

Ans: Yes. Dry Prasad like Gaja, Khja, Kora are available on sale daily. Limited quantity of Prasad is distributed to devotees free of cost daily, after morning and evening Aratis and on special occasions.

8. Is photography allowed?

Ans: Non-commercial photography is allowed in the temple premises where as photography in sanctum sanctorum is prohibited.

9. Where is the Gundicha Mandir?

Ans: It is about 500 mtrs east of the Jagannath temple and on left side of Road No.12 towards Road no1 in the premises of Saibaba temple.

10. Are marriages allowed inside the temple?

Ans: Yes. Marriages can be performed in the temple premises by the parties subject to prescribed fees. The temple does not undertake to perform marriages.

11. Is there wheel chair service available for senior citizen?

Ans: Wheel chair can be provided for the devotees not in a position to walk. Devotees need to make their own arrangements for use.

12. Can I plan Anna Prasana of my child at the temple?

Ans: Yes. Anna Prasana can be performed in the temple. Contact Temple Office.

13. Is there Child Mundan facility available?

Ans: No child Mundan facility is available.

14. Is there any light and sound show organized in Jagannath temple?

Ans: Yes. Light and sound show named Chakadola is being screened on every Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m in Hindi on a nominal contribution of Rs.50/- per head. Special shows are organized for a group of at least 30 persons in prior notice and arrangement.
